A gamble that appears to have paid off. Bed arrived in good time but without instructions. After a couple of messages, I finally received the correct instructions (side lift) and the bed has been built without much issue although, as others have suggested, I would recommend searching for the Aspire Beds YouTube channel and watch the “how to build” video as the instructions are very basic and pretty rubbish to be honest, so the video instruction does help.Even when listed on Amazon, buying online from a company you have never heard of is always a risk, especially as all you have to go off is a photo and a few mixed reviews and so many people have complained on Amazon about lower priced Ottoman beds having poor, low quality parts. However, the materials delivered appeared to be of good quality and fitted together OK (thanks to the help of the video) plus the hydraulics worked first time, which was a big relief. My only gripe would be that the frame does have some sharp edges and did catch / mark the headboard when raising / lowering it before I worked out how to adjust it.I suppose my last point would be that Aspire Beds promote “Quality UK made Beds, Headboards & Mattresses” but the 3 boxes that were delivered stated “made in China” but I suppose a low cost supply chain is a necessity to keep prices low. As a firm believer in “you get what you pay for” my expectations were not too high and so this is definitely one gamble that appears to have paid off as for the price paid, the quality is absolutely fine when compared to the Ottomans viewed in various bed shops (at much higher prices), so fingers crossed there are no issues going forward.

Very good bed, excellent company. Bed came and was delivered by XPD, i was a little nervous as this company has bad reviews but the driver was incredible and even offered to take away the cardboard for me!Putting together the bed was a breeze, paper instructions came but there was also a link to a youtube video which was so easy to follow along with, i had the bed built within an hour with some help on parts hard to do.The storage under the bed is just amazing, if you elect to put the feet on, you gain alot of height room too which is perfect for storing boxes in. One word of advice, the beds bottom is a velcro piece of fabric, but if you drill the feet into the bed through the velcro, it will not come apart when using heavy stuff for storage.The hydrolic system to lift the bed is decent, it is abit wobbly but nothing to be too concerned about, it works brilliantly and is not too heavy to lift. My only real downside about this bed was the slats. Once fully built a few of them did break due to a manufacturing issue, however, Aspire Beds were fantastic and offered to refund me the difference on a set of IKEA slats which i could get on the same day as contacting them due to their warehouses being shut due to bad weather. They issued the refund almost instantly once showing them the price.I cannot reccomend this company enough, this level of customer service is just brilliant and the overall experience with dealing with Aspire Beds has been pleasurable.Fantastic bed, Fantastic price, Fantastic company.

Excellent value for money stylish. Loving the bed base stylish modern storage space underneath is excellent, took a couple of hours to assemble but sturdy and robust the only criticism was the the footboard ,slates and instructions were zipped in the headboard not clear and you need the instructions to be visible to know this almost sent it back thinking a piece was missing but did not spoil the experience too much .Also purchased the accidental damage cover great value for money thank you .
