Frees up a lot of space, pistons are a bit stiff, very good value for money compared to others. When delivered, it doesn’t look like it’s all there, just two packages. Open it all up an you will find that a lot of the parts are zipped in the headboard. It’s sturdier than you expect from a wooden frame, mainly due to the bits of metal screwed into it which interlock and the screws into the metal frame in the headboard.As long as you take your time and read the instructions, it will be easy. Saying that, I stumbled on a couple of steps and had a couple parts left at the end… there are two bars which you need when connecting the gas pistons to the bed frame …. if you find that you the part that the mattress will eventually sit on seems to be a bit too short and you really need to work at getting the two gas pistons to connect to that bed support, I suggest you check that you have used the metal support between the piston and the frame of the bed… if you have used it, the top of the bed frame will fit easily. It can be built by one person with the occasional hand from someone else … I had a 6 year old helping me and we put it together with no problems …. although we did take more than 1.5 hours as we were treating it as a holiday activity and life lesson in DIY.You really have to press down hard on the bed to get the “lid” to close, it almost feels like its going to break… you can unconnect one of the pistons which halves the pressure needed, and open and close it a few times to loosen it up a bit and then do the same for the other side… after a few weeks, it has loosened up a bit and is now just stiff rather than glued stuck and much more usuable.As a bed, it’s lower than my old frame by 3 inches so I’m sitting lower than I’m used to… it also reduces the storage but this is all subjective and dependant on what your current bed is like. It does hold a fair amount of stuff inside and has freed up a lot of space in my room.I don’t think a child would be able to open and close this easily but as an adult I think that this is a very good buy. I cannot comment as to the longevity of the bed because I’ve only had it a few weeks but it feels fairly solid.

Single White Ottoman Bed £159.99. I read the reviews for this bed from others and looked at big brand sites and it’s the same and took a gamble and bought this even with the harsh reviews, but I have to say for the price it think it is fair , it look my husband about 3 hours with a little help from me. The instructions are backwards yes but you pay for what you get, other than that I think it’s a good bed, for me it’s not squeaky it’s rather comfy. The bolts and battered now but hey it doesn’t matter. I like it and that’s all that matters , looks really smart. Thank you Amazon.

He was a kitchen fitter. Easily rectified.. just took a bit longer.All in all a lovely well made bed. All parts there in blisters pack and boxes. No rips or tears at all.

Good but needs Improvements. Lovely model to build, turns out amazing. Thing that got me though; the instructions are good but not clear enough. They can be confusing! My fingers hurt from taking it apart multiple times because the instructions are not clear enough at some points. Some parts where they are placed do not make sense and it can really be frustrating.

Tidy. Can’t fault it. Nearly didn’t buy the bed due to the reviews saying the instructions were backwards in Russian, but with the help of my 3 cats jumping all over the pieces, i put it together on my own. Took a few hours but looks good and is exactly the bed i wanted. Arrived very quickly too, delivery guy was lovely.

Pretty good bed for the price. Not bad for the price. It was pretty straightforward to build, no issues at all with fittings or hole alignments. It provides very useful storage under the bed that is easily accessible. Delivery was also very quick. Not much else to say about a bed! For the price, I’d definitely recommend it.

Bang for buck. Don’t listen to others, the assembly is quiet easy unless the parts are missing or don’t align (which was a problem for one hole). I managed to put it together alone in 2 hours. Decent bed. I’d say it’s bang for buck.

Handy for storage. Had this bed for a month and it hasn’t failed me yet! It’s a little heavy to pull up but I’m hesitant to loosen any of the bolts Incase I get launched in my sleep 🤣 it’s quite sturdy and plenty spacious but it’s a little different to reach the back end of the storage underneath. Great for the price!

Good single ottoman bed. It’s a great bed and the storage space is so useful. Flat pack usually doesn’t defeat me but I found this one challenging, hence the missing star on my review.However, I managed it on my own taking time out when I got frustrated with it.Instructions are ok but not brilliant and I had to flick through the later steps to check I’d interpreted them correctly! It was a little more complicated as I wanted it to lift from the other side but I got there in the end.It was packed well, no damage in transit and all the hardware was in a sealed pack which worked well.The initial movement of the lift was astronomically difficult but beats going to the gym. It seems easier to lift now the mattress is on it and it’s been used a few times, but still a lot of power needed to push it down again. I’m sure that will get even easier with more use.The bed itself looks really nice and seems very well made. I would buy one again for sure and probably be much better at building it a second time.

Great Service and bed but gas lifts too strong. Fantastic, answered my questions promptly before buying, delivered 3 days early and very easy to put together. Only downside is that the gas lifts are very hard to push down, my 16yr cannot do and even ni struggle.
