Great price; nice colour; good storage. I bought this bed for the spare room for when guests stay, and I must say I’m very pleased with it. It’s almost identical to the picture, except maybe the headboard is slightly shorter. It’s a very nice colour grey and it’s not too bad to assemble. However, the instructions aren’t brilliant. It’s easy to tell what part is what, but when it came to assembling the frame that sits on the hydraulics, it’s quite hard to tell from the instructions which way is the correct way up for each piece! I had to remove and swap the orientation of two separate parts which is a bit of a faff as you have to pretty much dismantle the whole metal frame and start over because of the way it is designed. Additionally, one of the brackets broke when manoeuvring the frame into the correct position. However, the seller has agreed to replace it free of charge and has honestly been brilliant with their responses and very helpful. For now, I can make do without the necessary bracket as it is only a spare bed. I bought the variation with the mattress and it seems comfortable, but again, it’s only for guests, so won’t get used often. The delivery was punctual and the company contacted me twice to ensure the date and time was suitable, and again on the day with a rough ETA by phone call. The delivery drivers also asked me to confirm what was in the order before it was delivered to make sure it had definitely gone to the right place (I live on a new build). The storage is really good and fits a lot of stuff, more than I expected. Suitcases go under there nicely too, which is one of the reasons I wanted a bed like this. Now it’s assembled and made up, I am so happy with it. I think it looks brilliant and it doesn’t look cheap. It seems really stable and it’s not too heavy.
