Does actually work and improve engine feel and fuel economy. Must admit I was sceptical that any fuel additive did anything other than waste money. However, my old diesel engine was starting to idle heavily so I decided to give an additive a try. Research on the web suggested Archoil was one of the better ones.This size of bottle is sufficient for one tank of fuel. Run your tank low and take the Archoil bottle with you to the station. Break the foil seal on the bottle and tip the bottle into the fuel tank. The long thin neck on the bottle means it goes down the fuel inlet with no splashing of the contents. Then fill up with Diesel, this will give the correct concentration of additive for a typical family sized car.I used to get around 600 miles per tank, used plus remaining miles always hovered around a total of 600 figure, now it is around 680 miles. But the biggest improvement is in engine idling, the engine is much quieter now.I do not experience any improvement in acceleration so I am still sceptical about the claims for improved performance but miles per gallon and a smoother idling are definitely improved for my 2 litre TDI engine.

Update: After many months I am updating my review. This switch has resets itself a few times to some factory default state, wiping out my configuration settings, and my configured vlans. I’m not sure if it’s because of power being reset or because of some software on it that’s doing to reset, but it is incredibly annoying to have to reconfigure the device every time it happens.This thing works pretty well for my RV setup with a bunch of PoE devices. You are going to want to buy a console cable because the ssh, telnet, et al. management methods they claim to have don’t actually work out of the box.I couldn’t actually get my computer to connect to the management website because my security firewall was flagging and blocking it (maybe because it’s in Chinese?). After I disabled it I was able to connect, enable https, and then I was able to continue to connect from there.There is zero documentation, although some similar managed switch models have documentation.It comes with OpenWRT and a bunch of custom scrips for managing things like the reset button. After I got console access from the console port, which will log you into OpenWRT as root automatically, I disabled the OpenSSH service they had running (which for some reason was throwing errors trying to access the shadow file), and enabled dropbear for ssh access.From there telnet magically started working. There’s some custom interface I’m not familiar with, but it resembles a Cisco switch config that you would telnet into.A bunch of things you may want to lock down like telnet and SNMP v1&v2 with default community strings “public” and “private”.I haven’t had any problems with the PoE, that’s been working great.Device gets a little warm but not too hot, basically has a giant heat sync enclosure. Built very solid.This device appears to be branded by Linovision, Hinovision, but there are multiple places in files saying Utepo Data Communcation Co., Ltd.Suggestion to the seller / manufacturer, please provide on your website the documentation AND the firmware to flash the device!Lastly, device came running OpenWRT designated_driver for mvebu64 hardware. ‘opkg update’ doesn’t work since OpenWRT has reorganized their files so the distfeed.conf doesn’t point to the correct place.

Really Pleased. Bought this for my daughter, I was a little unsure as we hadn’t seen it in person before buying. It arrived when they said and was carefully delivered by a couple of very helpful guys who put it in the hall for me. It did take a while to put together and the little spanners it came with were a bit thin so I used a set I already had. The instructions were easy to follow and it seems really sturdy now it is together. Overall really pleased and I would definitely buy again.

Interface looks great, but some functions don’t work. Have to download manual. Solidly built.Unlike one of the other reviewers, mine came with the web management interface already enabled on 192.168.1.200, so I didn’t need to so anything with the console cable, which is lucky, as I could not get the serial port to work.It doesn’t help that the manual doesn’t tell you what speed to select, or what type of cable to use.Power consumption screens (which looks like they would be nice) do not actually show any power consumption except under “Port Configuration >> PoE Setting”In the “Energy System >> Energy System” screen, if you fill out all the values, and there is a problem with one of them, it shows you an error on what the range should be, but it doesn’t tell you which value, so you have to guess.Edit: the above maybe only applies to the solar controller version, as in the newer firmware they have renamed some of this section to “solar system …”, so why is it visible on this model?Two 10mbps devices which worked on my previous switch (NetGear GS110TP) do not work on this switch.There is no way to fill in the SNMP details, like Location, hostname and contact details.SNMP port stats seem to be wrong – my monitoring system (that works for Cisco and the previous NetGear switches), seems to think I have transferred 40TB though it in a day! This is wrong by an order of magnitude.There is no new firmware listed on their website, yet it exists – you have to log a ticket with their support, which seems a bit of a waste of everyone’s time.Upgrading the firmware means all your settings are wiped :(I did not try importing my saved config.Seems to handle PoE ok.It is disappointing that a switch this expensive has so many bugs.Included pictures:One shows the crazy graph obtained though SNMP polling, which says I’ve transferred over 1TB in a day, which is totally wrong!The second one shows the other end of the uplink with much more sensible statistics.The third one shows crazy statistics from one of the ports with silly values in red.-28bytes for MTU? how does that work? etc etc.The connection seems stable, so all those error counts are wrong too.
