Sturdy once in place, but not very well designed. Bought for my son’s bedroom. it does look nice. I have bought many of these types of beds in the past and they all suffer with the same thing – they are fiddly to get together and they cover over all the screw holes with fabric so you have to cut your own holes.This one is no diffreent. In order to get to front joining bolts (to join both sections of bed together) you have to climb into the frame of the bed. it is a very tight fit and if you’re over 10 stone it will be a struggle. Once it’s all bolted up, there is still quite a bit of flex between the 2 sections so be careful when moving it otherwsie you will put pressure on the joining bolts and you may break the wood that supports the bolt holes. The drawers also feel quite flimsy so take care when opening.All in all, for the price not too bad but I wish they would design the through-bolts better so you could get to them easier.

It’s all about the base. Actually, it’s probably all about the mattress, but this divan base was perfect for what I was looking for. I do have a decent mattress on it so I’m finding it supportive enough and I prefer it to the wooden slatted bed frame I had previously. The drawers get occasional use and are handy for storage but I’m not sure how well they would hold up to a lot of daily use. The bed was supplied with two clips to hold the two sections together underneath, these just kept springing of so I didn’t bother with them and it hasn’t made any difference, all the stitching and build quality was good and I had no problems there. I would buy it again because it was reasonably priced and does the job.

Great double divan. Budget divan, but a good one. I love the little feet that it comes with, it gives it a more luxury look. The material feels good and looks good. The draws are great, not as thick as other divan beds, but will store spare bedding and such stuff easily. Great delivery service, good communication. Well chuffed!

I’ve seen some other reviews saying that this is low quality stuff that will break in a few weeks, well having used this for about 3 years, it took an 80kg person jumping on the bed to actually break the frame, at least now I can get this new oneOne thing I will say is that you are better off with the wheels off as it becomes very easy to accidently move the bed when u didn’t mean to.The storage compartment has a lot of space and pretty much cleared out my closet of stuff I don’t need at the moment
